md-to-xlsx no longer writes a workbook Excel can't open when a cell holds a number too big to store, such as 1e999. It is kept as text. A JSON integer longer than 15 digits is kept as text too, so an ID isn't rounded.
md-to-xlsx tells you when it removes an HTML tag from a table cell. A name like Fabrikam <Ltd> used to lose <Ltd> without a word.
file-to-markdown keeps code blocks and quotes from a Word file. Code comes back fenced with its indentation, quotes come back with >, and literal <tag> text is escaped so it survives being converted again.
md-to-docx says each warning once. A 60,000-row table with the same problem in every row printed 60,000 lines.
pre-merge-review --install-hook respects your umask. The pre-commit hook was always made world-readable (CodeQL py/overly-permissive-file); it now gets the execute bit only where the file was already readable.
The three converter scripts run without deprecation warnings on Python 3.14.
