skilldrop update now updates installed loops. outdated lists a loop whose version moved, update brings it current and keeps any file you edited beside the new one as <file>.upstream, and diff and doctor work on loops too. The four loops renumbered in 0.16.10 (release, operate, ship-a-draft, apply) are now version 0.3.0, so npx skilldrop-cli update takes them. Every loop now has to declare a version, and it moves whenever the loop changes.
Every how-to fits on a page. Eight long how-tos were split: the task stays on the how-to, under 400 words, and the flags, paths and edge cases move to new reference pages for install options, install targets, updates and the ledger, the GitHub Action, benchmark options, the loop and skill contracts, and MCP servers. The check fails a how-to over 400 words.
