skilldrop is 1.0, and it now says what stays stable. From this release, versions follow Semantic Versioning for the CLI, a skill's folder and name, its scripts' documented flags and exit codes, loops, packs and profiles, the GitHub Action and the plugin names. A change that would break one of them waits for 2.0 (what stays stable, RFC-0064).
A skill's instructions and output keep improving in any release. That's what the measurements are for. A skill that stops beating the plain agent is retired with a record naming what to use instead, and your installed copy keeps working.
Deprecations come first, in a minor release, with a changelog entry and a CLI warning, and keep working until the next major.
Python 3.9 is now tested in CI. It's the python3 macOS ships, and the oldest Python the skills' scripts support.
Nothing you use changes in this release. 1.0 is the promise, made on 117 skills, 11 loops and 6 reviewer agents, every script unit-tested and the file parsers fuzzed.
